The Prince and Princess of Wales attended the St. Patrick's Day Parade at Mons Barracks in Aldershot on March 17th, a cultural and religious celebration held on the traditional death date of Saint Patrick, the foremost patron saint of Ireland. The parade ended with a march-past where The Princess took the salute.
The Prince and Princess of Wales are well known for their support of the military, and this event was no exception. After the parade, the royal couple took the time to meet with soldiers and their families. They were able to hear first-hand about the challenges and sacrifices that come with serving in the military.
